These cyanotypes were recorded on Laleh Zar Street in August 2019. They are a continuation of the Cinema Cristal project and are a collection of the shadows of Laleh Zar Street.

Laleh Zar is a street in the centre of Tehran which was once  home to several cinemas, and is today characterised by an array of lights lining the street, which are offered for sale alongside the street. The flow of images through light — cinema — seems to have broken apart into a variety of different light sources after the changes that the Iranian revolution brought about.
